The Challenge
Strachan Fitted Furniture had good traffic volumes for a business of their size and were doing good business online. However, when we sat down with them we quickly realised they could be doing more.
Digital Welly put a proposal to Strachan to increase their conversion rates on an ongoing basis and to drive more of the valuable enquiry types which they knew as a business would deliver more sales.
Approach
As an ongoing project we work closely with Strachan’s internal team reviewing web analytics information to find areas for improvement. What these improvements involve varies on a month by month basis.. two of our most successful improvements were the redesign of their contact form and the implementation of their January sale.
Results
Through redesigning Strachan’s main brochure and design service enquiry form we increased overall enquiries by 25%. We also tweaked the form to drive more design requests as opposed to brochure requests - we increased design requests by 100%.
The way in which we implemented Strachan’s January sale through introducing the sales messages at proven drop off points increased enquiries by 300%.
Achieveing a 6% uptake rate from email in such a competitive industry is no easy task.
